The Adoption Process
At Oak Creek Cavaliers, adopting a puppy is more than a transaction — it’s the beginning of a lifelong bond. We want every family to feel informed, confident, and supported from the first message to the first tail wag at home. Here’s everything you need to know about how we raise our puppies and what you’ll receive.
1. Submit an Inquiry
Start by filling out our contact form, reaching out via AKC Marketplace, or emailing us directly at OakCreekCavaliers@gmail.com.
Let us know which puppy you're interested in and a little bit about your home and lifestyle.
2. Get to Know Each Other
We’ll follow up with a short conversation or questionnaire. This helps us understand if one of our puppies is the right fit for your family — and vice versa.
3. Submit a Deposit
Once approved, you’ll place a non-refundable deposit to hold your puppy. This guarantees your spot and allows us to mark your puppy as reserved.
4. Begin Receiving Updates
You'll receive weekly photo or video updates as your puppy grows, along with info on personality, development, and go-home readiness.
5. Vet Check + Go Home Day
Puppies go home at 8+ weeks of age after a licensed vet check. You’ll receive a health record, limited AKC registration, and a take-home pack.
6. Lifelong Support
We’re always here for you — whether it’s your first night or your puppy’s first birthday. Once you adopt from us, you’re part of the Oak Creek family.
